[hpsdr] Atom PC

I hope this isn't too presumptuous, if so, please feel free to tell me to
buzz off.

 

What hardware did you put together for your Atom 330 system?  After seeing
the positive experiences people have been reporting, I thought I might take
a shot at building one.  But, being lazy, I didn't want to start from
scratch.

 

I haven't built a PC from components for a number of years and wanted to
pick your brain a bit.

Any advice on putting together an Atom 330 system that you could share with
me or others on the list?  Things to watch out for, equipment you like, etc.

Hi Dan,

 

Thank you -- that worked perfectly. I'm currently running both the 

FLEX-5000A and HPSDR Mercury/Penelope/Ozy simultaneously on the Atom 330 

under WinXP 64, with an average CPU load of about 32%. Both radios are 

completely stable with no dropouts at all.
