[hpsdr] Mercury connectors

Phil,

A quick search seems to show that if I am careful of the center hole size on
the PCB that it should be possible to insert your favorite connector (SMA,
SMB or SMC). The SMB is available as a jack or plug style for right angle
PCB mount.

I have lots of SMA hardware around, including an SMA torque wrench, so I
would probably prefer SMA.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for posting the initial design of the Mercury board. Could I make
one suggestion and that is to use SMB rather than SMA connectors. I have
been using these for a number of projects and find them much more convenient

for running RF signals between, and on, PCBs.

Since I would expect these connectors will be on the edge of the board, and
poking out of an 'ATX' type enclosure then I suggest the push-pull SMB
connectors would be easier to use rather than the screw type SMA.
