Richard-

Look in the parts library supplied with Kicad. The 96 pin DIN connector
footprints are called:

C96ABCMD
C96ABCFD
C96ABCMC

I _think_ the C96ABCFD pattern is the one that matches what is on the
ATLAS backplane, so C96ABCMD should be the pattern for the mating part.
