Just a thought for those who want pre-assembled boards only.
You can always pay someone else to assemble a kit for you. And with many
projects that has happened in the past either with the original kit creator
offering things pre-assembled as an option for additonal cost or
third-parties who enjoy the assembly stepping up to the table.
In other words if you only offer a kit officially there is almost certinaly
going to be an optional way to get a pre-assembled offering if that's what
you want.
But if you only offer a pre-assembled board. Then you leave out the people
who want the experience of assembly entirely.
Officially offering only a kit (whether it be partial or complelte in parts
or assembly) doesn't cut out options for anyone.
But officially offering only pre-assembled boards does cut out options for
lots of people.
