If you start a 4-40 X 3/8"  screw thru from the board side it will 
thread right  into the DIN connector shell and anchor the connector 
against the board while you solder and provide additional support for 
insertion and removal. You can also add a small nut for additional 
support.
Or you can go to your local Home Depot and try and find enough of the 
correct Metric size...........
