[hpsdr] parts kit vs mounted SMT

Mike-

Many of the parts ( the A/Ds, FPGA's, DSP processors) are not very
likely to be in many peoples home inventories. Some can be difficult to
come by in quantities of 1 or 2 as well. If TAPR is interested in taking
on the parts acquisition task and offering parts kits for the HPSDR
boards I think that would be a very positive thing.

I guess we will need to stand-by and see how it all shakes out in the
end.

Ray, I suspect that it will realistically break
down into:

a.) board only

c.) fully assembled

Throw b.) in there and you have two sets of part
inventories, one for the assembler and one at TAPR.
Besides, the folks who enjoy the soldering process
probably already have many of the parts on hand.

After a half-century of soldering, I'd rather spend
my time experimenting with what it can do and tinkering
with the software, than soldering and trying to find
my soldering errors.   :)
