This looks like a WINNAH!

Guys: Man this is excitin' stuff!

Alex - Chris: Thanks for throwing out the wet blanket drogue chute. When
this baby unfurls it is going to be beautiful! Love the concept of board IDs
and the potential for autoconfig, and a fantastic level of automation! Not
only state of the art hardware but state of genius software, with all the
'handles' for developers!

Don - After the last 2 days, I think my Pinging days are over! Great job of
keeping up the developments on the website. That IS a labor of love to keep
current!

We have leveled off at 186 Atlas boards ordered. However if we can convince
Alex that it would be worth the risk to order 5 x $10 dollar boards and
perhaps lose the gamble at having a working Ozy and ??? vs missing the first
pass and having to order 5 x $51 dollar "No touch" boards... Well that will
put us into the next discount level! (smile). They are pretty enough to
frame, and will be complete with Serial numbers! Who knows, someday they
might be auctioned at Sotheby's and bring several million $ ($1.98 after
inflation and taxes). A "Genuine Phil Covington piece".

I have delayed ordering the Atlas run for a few days, since the Janus and
Ozy are still being 'dusted off' for improvements and discussion. I want to
make sure I take an accurate shot at numbers. I already have all the
packaging materials ready, mailing labels ready. I still have customs forms
to generate, and documentation on RoHS to generate. I will use a production
of 10 day delivery, and will be prepared to do a 2 day shipping turn USPS
only. Timing IS everything!

Keep on Truckin' guys! This gets funner and funner!

Eric - AA4SW

DS2431P has 1 k-bit of EEPROM, can be erased/programmed 200,000 times,
retention is 10 years minimum, and costs 61 cents in 1K qty ($1.15 in
unit qty). And has a 64-bit serial number unique to each device.
