For those who do not require Cesium/ Rhubidium accuracy you might want 
to look at this attachment and

this unit costs about $10 and it can be disciplined via the Voltage 
control

But it only seems that it is available from the Manufacturer in 
Auckland. NZ

The also have announced a VERY small GPS receiver but don't seem to 
have any details available on their website

Perhaps a dual set of pads could be set on the board to allow either 
this or one like the Valprey Fisher to be mounted
since they do have similiar sizes

Just another thought to muddy the waters

Indeed they do.  The only problem with Valpey Fisher is the essentially
nonexistent samples and the large fraction of a year lead time.  That
said,  they are the sheriff in this miniature oscillator camp.  The 
VFT7
and VFT8 both have dime size cross sections and are TC-VCXO's and the
performance is spectacular.
