Hi Roland,

We're still working away on it. Janus is pretty much all checked out.
Ozy's in very good shape as well -- just last night got bit bang DDS tuning
going from PC -> Ozy -> SDR 1000. We still have a few peripheral things to
check out on Ozy (flash FPGA loading, 1 wire interface, some others) and
then I think we will be ready to do a small run of revised Ozy
boards. Once that run is checked out and verified we'll be ready to say go
make lots of boards. I think the developers will be talking to the TAPR
folks this week to figure out how to go forward with a 2nd run and talk
about how to do a production run after that.

For the Alpha of the rev 2 boards I'd like to see if we can do about 10 of
'em and get some more folks involved. To do this in the 300-500 unit
manufactured quantities it looks like there is interest in we will need
help in getting all the features tested out and building a test suite to
run on manufactured boards. Hoping there may be some folks on the list
that can help out with that. Not really sure of all (any?) of the details
as yet It would also be good if we could find 1 or 2 folks with a 100
watt PowerSDR with antenna tuner to validate we can control that
configuration. At the moment none of us with Ozy and Janus boards has a
100 watt PowerSDR to validate we can read back the SWR values from the 100
watt amp.

I'll admit the developers (at least this developer) have been a bit quiet
of late -- by no means have we forgotten about the board -- just taking
some time to make sure we've got it right before we go off and make lots of
'em.

Thanks for the ping -- the crowd out here has been more patient than I'd
expected of late.

Cheers,

Bill
