[hpsdr] Pandora - Enclosures.

Hi Henry!

First, sorry for the double message! I too forgot to cc: the list.

I agree - it is a pity that Ten-Tec doesn't export enclosures to Europe.
I think they've got a great product - even the less expensive series
of enclosures are quite nice, especially considering that they are low
in cost. I think that they would do rather well.

My target for the HPSDR case is to keep the cost as close to 50 USD as I
can. This may be unrealistic and may have to increase some, but that's
the goal.

So far, at Buckeye Shapeform I'm looking at the XPAND-A series and the
E-series. I received some e-mail from them today suggesting the
E-series over XPAND-A as that decreases cost, but I have yet to look at
drawings for the E-Series to see if it fulfills the needs of HPSDR.

In either instance, I want the case to be able to be shipped flat. Yes,
it weighs the same, but smaller makes things easier to ship! And that's
both within the USA as well as outside the USA!

thanks much and 73,
ben, kd5byb
