[hpsdr] Power Supplies

Mike
Check the HPSDR achieves. Various ATX and newer style connectors and
adapters, links to get them, power supply modifications, etc. were discussed
in some detail when Atlas was being discussed last year.
I don't think ANY good fusing suggestions were made at that time. There WAS
quite a bit of concern about connecting the Atlas boards to the monster ATX
supplies.
Thanks
Eric

Ah, that's very interesting Mike. Thank you.
I planned on outboarding the power supply.
Less heat in the HPSDR. And my son gave
me a beautiful chromed PC supply.
I plan to have an outside connector, with
feedthru capacitors, ferrite beads, and
overvoltage and overcurrent protection,
then an internal cable to the Atlas.
I'm a shielding freak.
I hope someone can tell me part numbers of
some clamps/zeners.
Also, can someone recommend 2 and 6 pin header
sockets, as used on the UCB, Ozy, and other
HPSDR stuff? I've poked around Mouser and
MPJA, but haven't found anything yet.
