Thanks for the reminder. I think this would work great as a suppressor
for a ham band receiver,
but this suppressor will trend towards a very low impedance below 500
kHz, as you get below
the design frequency of the transformer. I am leaning toward the ProTek
suppressors. They are
a low voltage bidirectional diode array in a single package about the
size of an 0805 chip cap.
