You have to be careful that the time string is UTC, and not GPS time.
GPS time does not honor leap seconds, so it is ahead of UTC by about 15
seconds (right now).

Unless I misread the info at their site, this gadget only gives the 
current time.

FYI - All standard GPS units output the accurate time as an ASCII 
string - it is one of the standard messages - I forget which one, but 
any listing of the messages will give it. Pretty easy to throw away 
all the other messages and use only the time if that is all you need.
