That's because this "composite" dynamic range is
marketing nonsense as a measurement.

It's not _instantaneous_ dynamic range which with the
parameter that everyone else uses to rate their
radios, instead it is the range of input signals that
the radio can accept, one at a time, WHEN YOU LET THE
AGC CHANGE THE GAIN to an appropriate value for each
solitary test input signal!

In other words, the radio has a wide range of gain
adjustment, and a AGC loop willing to use that range.

That's all it means!
