[hpsdr] getting close

hi All,
  After spending the past two days building a network and downloading my fill of gates bloat wear my computer is ready to connect the breadboard. I have Flex software running off my stock sound card and homebrew converter. USB2 interface looks ready also.
  I have a couple questions.
   
  1. I need to swap I & Q inputs. Alberto's software was easy just do it in the set up but I can't find that option so do I need to build an adapter?
  2. I have no S meter function. Do I need to read the Flex manual for a calibration and is it possible in softrock mode?
   
  I see a good long run of some interesting testing in the drag race between premium receivers and HPSDR. Frank WA1GFZ
