I cannot comment on the IP3, I will leave that to the designer of that receiver.
About the price, the 799 EUR are VAT included, which outside the European Community is not to be paid. So detract from 
that the 20%, which gives a net price of abt 666 EUR, equal to 892.2 USD at the today's exchange rate.
