This should be very easy to produce too.

My thoughts also. I think a run of 400 would be a good mark, however, we can
run an 'interests' if we go this way.

Let me throw out an idea. One way to make the bezel a little more
user-friendly would be to size it such that it could drop right onto the
front of a Ten-Tec BK-959 case that seems to be a nice size to enclose
an HPSDR. If you wanted to mount the bezel to something else, it will
still work, as the front panel of the BK-959 is nothing more than a
rectangular piece of aluminum that's about 5.5 inches high by 9 inches
or so wide.

This is a Super Idea!
Let's find the smallest 'off the shelf' enclosure with a fairly nice style,
which will also keep Pandora's pretty face at a reasonable size to mount on
'standard' PC enclosures. Also if the face is a little longer, it could be
used for the very basics of controls. Like a small power switch and led
indicators for the various power supplies. (user drilled) An suitable sized
Enclosure with symmetrical front and rear panels, with options to order the
panels would be great and encompass Cliff's idea.

The following link illustrates some enclosures with a front back
orientation. I actually negotiated with Rose Bopla last year for their
Build-A-Box, when we were looking at Euro style card mounts. However, card
sizes no longer fit that model and are more adapted to PC mount. I don't
think Rose Bopla is the way to go, but there are literally thousands of
enclosures out there, we should be able to find one off the shelf which
would do for many of the folks in this project which would exactly fit the
face of pandora. Order the face plate from us and buy the cabinet it fits.

Now that's hot! I like that a lot. You could either use that as the
enclosure, or use that as a sub-enclousure.

With a little work on these 'standard size' Lego's I think we can make a
"one-size fit's all" building block erector set style case.

This weekend I'm working on assembling an Atlas and a Pinocchio
extender. This week and next weekend I hope to get both of those put
into SolidWorks so we'll have a solid model to start working on getting
a case design into the computer and back out as a PDF 3D photo that all
can look at and comment on.

GREAT! Can't wait!
