 Barry:
Did you realize that you can mount a vertical DIN connector on the ozy
facing backwards and a vertical DIN connector on the Janus facing forward
and connect the two boards with no Atlas at all. I tried it and it works!
The 3M Male DIN part number is DIN-96RPC-S1-TR+DIN/96P? 30048011402872

Before doing any soldering position the two connectors and get the keying
correct. Get it backwards and it will be hard to undo. This will create a
non standard configuration but it will still plug into an extender card.
Has anyone else tried this or just me?]

Hi Eric,

I've been a lurker on this group for quite a while now. After I saw some
comments on cutting the Atlas backplane at slot 2 to provide for an
interconnect for just a Janus/Ozy pair, I decided that there was something
better. I started with the free stuff (ExpressPCB, PCB123...). But they
all had limitations. I decided to purchase a non-profit license for
DipTrace (4layers/1000pins). I have taken Phil C's excellent Atlas design
and have converted it to a 2 slot design, that may be of interest to the
JANUS/OZY only folks.

Is anyone interested?
