Hi Eric,

That reminds me of an interesting thought I had the other day.  Perhaps we need a thermally-controlled fan circuit?  Maybe with tach pulse monitoring?

I have a love/hate relationship with fans.  They are so neat and fun, yet noisy!  Many fans run very quite at less than full rated voltage.  Thermal control might even allow the fan to not turn until the system gets warm.

I've never really found a fan to be electrically noisy - did Flex run into a bad lot of fans?  I'd like to hear more on this subject...
