[hpsdr] DDS

Before the days of DDS The look up sine table was stored in a prom and it drove a DAC. The faster you clocked the counter the higher the frequency. I want to scream every time someone suggests going back to that. We even made video with a DAC08 once. 
  They stuck it all on a chip a long time ago and there isn't a way to make it better with discrete parts. AD is working a lot harder than any of us can afford to make a cleaner source. please some set me straight if I'm missing something. fc
