Hi Richard,

>From memory the crystal oscillator had a VCXO facility. This means that we 
could phase lock it to the 10MHz reference on the Atlas bus.  Can you please 
let me have a copy of the latest circuit so I can see what additional 
components we may need to do this.

Next iteration of Phoenix is nearly finished. AD9912 hopefully correct and 
the low
noise oscillator circuit added.
One last detail:
What footprint is generally used for high performance crystals in the low 
noise
oscillator?
I have put a through hole HC18/U and a SM pattern on the board
