Alberto,

there are no major functional differences between Mercury-EU and Mercury.
As the layout is different the firmware is assigned to a different pinning
of the FPGA on both boards. Beside this the firmware is the same.

You need a clock oscillator 122.88 MHz i.e. Crystec CVHD-950 122.88. The
122.88MHz are fed to the ADC as the sampling frequency. This frequency is
secondly divided by ten to the main clock frequency of 12.288 MHz which goes
to the Atlas bus.
