[hpsdr] T/R switching of Mercury and Penelope?

Has anyone thought of incorporating a T/R switching mechanism to switch from mercury to penelope when PTT is activated? It may wel be incorporated (in penelope?, mercury? alex?) and I just missed it somewhere. If not, shouldn't we think about including it somewhere?
