[hpsdr] Penelope maximum baseband IQ sample rate

I have been looking at the Verilog Block diagram for Penelope.
Can the I2S bus operate any faster than 48K?

I guess next I am going to have to figure out what the 
"Penelope Soundcard" looks like to the host.
