[hpsdr] does 'SDRMAXII' happen to work with Mercury ? etc...

At the moment there is no inter operability between the HPSDR
hardware and SDRMAXII
That does not mean there could not be. The QS1R and Mercury hardware
are pretty similar. One could modify the FPGA code on Ozy and
Mercury to emulate a QS1R -- essentially send up the same datastream
a QS1R does. Another approach would be to provide and adapter layer
of code on the PC that took the existing Ozy/Mercury
protocol/datastream and converted it to what SDRMAXX is looking
for. Since everything is open source I think both of these
approaches would be feasible.
This is certainly something Phil Harman and I have thought of - don't
know that either of us has any firm plans to do anything about it in
the short term. If soemone's interested in taking such a project on
I'd certainly support 'em doing it.
