[hpsdr] Another Newbie Question

OK -- so I resolved my Ozy firmware loading problem (The secret was
downloading this file:
http://www.philcovington.com/HPSDR/OZY/UTILS/HPSDR_USB_LIB_V1.dll
and the initializing the eeprom before running initozy.bat)

But I remain confused.

I have Atlas, Ozy and Penelope.

Do I need a soundcard to transmit?

If so, where does the soundcard connect to the boards?

Where are the I/Q signals generated?
