[hpsdr] Atlas Impedance Measurements

Hi Phil,

I already had known these measurements but I cannot find the layer stackup
for these boards which is essential for impedances of the bus lines
(striplines).

Impedance controlled multilayer boards require a defined layer stackup which
specifies besides the trace widths the thicknesses of copper and insulation
layers within the stackup and a definition for the material which influences
the dielectric constant. As a standard material I presume that FR4 was used.

Probably it is as it is?

Hi Gerd,

There are some test results by Ray Anderson WB6TBU in SVN that characterise
the Atlas bus. Look at the

end of this document

which layer stackup was used for the boards for which the impedance and TDR
measurements were made?

I could not find any specification.

I ask this question because I found signal integrity issues on the
clocklines.
