Many thanks to the TAPR team - my kit arrived about 10 days ago and 
yesterday I constructed the kit.  No difficulty and it works a treat.  A 
very well presented  kit for a reasonable price.  I was impressed by the 
very accurate alignment of the PCB and H/Sink.

Incidentally I rotated the incorrectly mounted Penelope output transformer 
by removing it with a heat gun after shielding the surrounding components 
with pieces of sheet steel - then just resoldered it.

Can anyone tell me if the milliwatt readings on PowerSDR are correct when 
transmitting?  Mine show as high as 550 on 160m and reducing to some 250 at 
10m - these are not in agreement with my HP power meter but of course the 
sensor head I have is for microwave use!!
