[hpsdr] Need Cypress FX2 knowledge

I need to find out what the programmer of choice is for this chip using USB.

I'm building up some USB to parallel adapters and am having a hard time
getting the program to stick using the Cypress EZ Manager (old copy).

Any help would be appreciated.

Subject: [hpsdr] providing server space and bandwidth

***** High Performance Software Defined Radio Discussion List *****

While it is both admirable and generous that people offer server space and
bandwidth (I am currently hosting Hermes content and will gladly continue),
the suggestion for SourceForge might be a better one long term. This avoids
the problem of cost and control. To wit, one person being left holding the
bag, OR, and as we've seen in previous circumstances with hpsdr itself, one
person can be left with too much control relative to group consensus. These
two extremes are encountered more often than any of us would like, but hey,
we're fragile creatures.

Software Defined Radio is likely to become more bandwidth intensive than it
currently is, especially high performance SDR. So going with larger, more
publicly accountable entities seems like a wiser choice. SourceForge is 'on
code' for collaborative software development, and there are other outlets,
like Google Wave that may be better choices for collaborative communication,
although I have been a bit disappointed with Google Wave to date, as it is
difficult to get other people joined up transparently.

One thing for sure, email robs us of those interpersonal cues that allow us
to sync up and work effectively as team. Even 3 kHz of voice does better
sometimes.
