Thanks, if I had only waited another day there would have been no need for the email except to thank Dan N7HQ for the quick guide.  Great Job, this saves many hours of wasting time.

Thanks Graham for pointing me to this wiki.

Jim:

Today, a "Quick Start" guide was added to the Wiki
by Dan, N7HQ.

Give it a try and let Dan know how it went.

As far as the FPGAs, there was software put on both
Penelope and Mercury at the factory that will get you
started. The FPGA in Ozy gets downloaded every
time you power up the hardware, then start PowerSDR.
That is the "Console Window" you see pop up then disappear
the first time you hit the "Start" button for the day.

My question: can I just plug in USB turn on power and bring up PowerSDR? How
do the FPGAs get loaded? TH\here are several jumpers on the OZY, are they
correctly pre-configured?
