V2.4 loaded fine and running with it now. I have a question regarding the  
JTAG JMP-7 on
Penelope. That has always been installed and wonder if now that Mercury is  
on the buss,
where should this jumper be or does it matter?

Mercury V2.4 is available for beta testing - use  the same procedure to load 
the Mercury flash chip as per the previous  releases.
 
New in this version:
 
- Added ADC Overflow indication - Bill, KD5TFD,  is adding a software 'LED' 
to PowerSDR that will light when the ADC is being  overloaded. Bill will 
announce separately when a version of PowerSDR is  available that supports this 
feature. 
 
- Improvements to board position sensitivity on  the Atlas back plane. 
 
- Alex HPF filter switching moved from 1.5MHz to  1.7MHz.
 
- For software developers, a data stream that can  be used to implement a 
bandscope with up to 50MHz bandwidth. Email me  directly if you are developing PC 
code and want to experiment with  this feature.
 
As before please stress test V2.4 and provide  feedback to the reflector.
