Hi Sheldon,

Thanks for your feedback, I'll update the README file as you suggest.

In terms of what files are need from

< svn://206.216.146.154/svn/repos_sdr_hpsdr/trunk/USBBlaster-Binaries >

the answer is all of them. Load them in a directory of your choice - I use C:\HPSDR\Fantastic_Mercury

The Wiki folks may be persuaded to up load them there if we ask really nicely.

Remember this is just an interim solution until we automate the process. We alpha tested the ability to read the versions of software in the FX2 and FPGAs this weekend so a step closer.

Just sucessfully updated my Mercury board to V2.4. All fairly painless but some clarification to the .text might be usefull. Section 3 is currently

"3. Fit a jumper to the last JTAG header on your Mercury board i.e. JP7, bottom left of the board just above
     the Atlas connector. "

  Might be better as
  3. Fit a jumper to the header pins marked LAST JTAG JP7 at bottom left of the board just above
     the Atlas connector. "

I initally manged to jumper the JTAG row above at J7

There is no mention of where the HPSDR blaster files should be located or which ones are needed from the SVN. Additional instructions would be useful for idiots like myself.

More people might follow this current procedure if the text file was copied over to the HPSDR wiki.
