I have thought for some time that the HPSDR platform would be a great
place to demonstrate some of the basics of programmable logic design.

I would be *very* interested. I have been diddling around with FPGA's
for some time but have never acquired any sense that I know what I'm
doing. I need a little 'structure', as we used to say of the 8th
graders I taught. Count me enthusiastically in on anything you wish to
offer.
