Thanks for the info. 

Just did the upgrade on all boards, apparently without incident.

Mercury sounds fine.  Calibrated with the XG1 at -73dBm.

So far none of the nasties as reported by others.

Running Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.67MHz, Intel Mobo, mobo USB.
NVidia GeForce 9600GT video.
32bit WinXP SP3, 2Gig Ram.

Currently listening on 40m SSB.  CPU running around ~6%.

So far so good.
