Hello Gerd,
I would like to do exactly the same thing and log and graph the S meter reading over a period of time. Very useful for monitoring beacons especially since the S meter can be set to dBm.
The way I would do this is to use CAT control and I was thinking of writing some VBA code to run within Excel and talk to PowerSDR via a virtual com port. Graphing and saving data is then very easy. I assume dBm can be passed through CAT, I need to check on that.
What do you think?
