Hmmm.  I found this in my archive about
replacing the -15 volt DC1, but the link
to the KB seems to be obsolete.

"Interesting Noise" 2007


This is a well known artifact and been discussed on the 
reflector.  It is noise from the DC-DC converter in the radio.
