Hi Marco,

I remember having the same or similar problems after upgrading using svn.
For me the solution was to do a new, clean checkout/install from svn on a
different path. (or delete everything in the existing path)

Regards,

Henry.

Marco,

Can you point me to the instructions you're following? At what point in the
process do you get this error? Are there any errors earlier in the process?

Bill,

I'm following the setup instructions in
http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=Quick_Startup_Guide
PowerSdr tells me that I don't have the latest FW releases, so I have to
update.
I'm following "Firmware Programming or Upgrade Instructions" at the end of
the page.
I updated the SVN from USBBlaster-Binaries, downloaded and installed Altera
Quartus II V9 sp2, run USBblaster.bat, and installed the driver for it.
All seems ok, with no errors. Then, when I execute
Program-Mercury-EPCS16.bat I get the "JTAG chain not found" error.
It seems to me that this error is generated by the Altera programming
utility, that starts correctly.
As I told before, I have Mercury in slot J6 on Atlas (close to the power
supply cable), and Ozy just next, in J5. I placed the programming jumper in
J7.
The power supply seems ok, voltages are right. The programming of Ozy with
USBblaster.bat went without errors.
