[hpsdr] Penelope ALC

Hi All,

This Saturday morning, I measured Penelope transmission.
During this, I found the the noise boost by Spectrum Analyser;

SSB Transmission with 1KHz tone the noise leve of Penelope is around -70dB
down the the tone. No input of tone the noise level  rises by 20dB.
The tone level is to get the full power of Penelope.

Is this due to ALC? Dows somebody let me know the mechanism Of Penelope ALC?
