Dear Gar,

For your Win7 64 bit problem, I suggest you check the WIKI pages for the USB
Drivers, and check the information on libusb0 for windows.  You will find
that you need a SIGNED version of the libusb0 driver, which has a link to it
on that wiki page.

As the others have said, updating Mercury firmware (which does require that
you have the proper usb drivers in some cases, like win7 64 bit) is most
likely part of your problem.  As John Melton has pointed out, if you don't
have a janus or a penelope, there will be errors reported during the
execution of 'initozy.bat' or any other script version of initozy.bat.

Searching the wiki pages can often answer many questions.  If you don't find
an answer there, reporting that you tried but didn't find the answer helps
us know that the WIKI needs updating or clarifying!
