I certainly would prefer to wind my own toroids rather than endure further
delays.  Winding toroids really isn't too bad... with the aid of a microbrew
or two.

About time to drop these clowns and wind our own toroids with real cores.
Careful with all of those cores.  Probably full of lead and cadmium left
over from toys and such. 

Is there a way to run the boards with all the parts except the coils and
still test them for functionality?  Perhaps a zero ohm (or so) SM resistor
where the coils are to be, an added pad in parallel to be removed when
installing the coils.  We could also probably add the BNCs on our own.

MicroMetals cores have always been close for me and with our using HP or LP
filters the roll off frequencies shouldn't be too critical, although those
of us with L testing ability will probably want to tweak turns/spacing a
bit.

Just so we get some easy strip wire.
