[hpsdr] WinUSB or libusb ?

Given that now there is a version of libusb that is certified and as
such can run on the 64-bit version of Windows 7,
is there a good reason to continue to use the WinUSB drivers , which,
reportedly, seem to have lower performance
wrt the libusb choice ?

I am asking this, as, if the consensus is that libusb is the way, then I
should add a row on my to-do list, saying that I
have to write a new DLL to interface Winrad with the HPSDR hardware...

Thanks
