On transmit should Mercury audio out be disabled?

If So How?

I hear a hum from PC speakers on transmit?

If I disconnect the audio on the Mercury the hum stop.

It is not due to a ground loop Which I tested with a Radio Shack  ground 
loop isolator.

Any advise would be appreciated.
