Hi,

I know there are many cards and projects on the list but I would like to ask if;

Could be possible to build a new card, similar to Mercury, but dedicated to VHF/UHF. May be based on LTC 2242-12, wich is good up to 1.2 GHz.

That ADC is only 12bits, Is that enough?
It could be used mainly on 144 and 432 MHz bands, and even on 50 and 70 meters and 1200 MHz ham bands.
It could open new uses for HPSDR as VHF/UHF EME, Metteor Scatter, etc.

For example, new Gemini SDR from Microtelecom (Perseus) is comming with coverage up to 170 MHz (and unconditioned input up to 500 MHz).

I have no idea about SDR designs, so it is just a wish idea for future.
