Diversity reception using two Mercury boards simultaneously on the
Atlas bus is available in a test program called PowerSDR
v1.19.3.1.diversity2 (Windows platforms). The test program,
supporting files (executable and source codes), and installation
instructions may be downloaded at

http://k5so.com/HPSDR_downloads.html.

PowerSDR v1.19.3.1.diversity2 is a modified version of PowerSDR
v1.19.3.1 and operates in diversity Rx mode full time. All of the
original Rx and Tx functions of PowerSDR 1.19.3.1 are functional, I
believe. To use the program it is necessary to load new code
(provided) into the FPGAs in both Mercury boards. New FPGA code for
Ozy (Ozy_Janus.rbf) is loaded automatically by the program from files
included in the distribution folder.

Mercury board jumpers and other set up items for using dual Mercury
boards are described in the "Multiple Mercury boards" paragraph on the
Wiki at

http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=Multi-Receiver

and additional information regarding diversity reception is located in
the "Release notes for PowerSDR v1.19.3.1.diversity2" at the download
site mentioned above.

The Tx audio stream problem in PowerSDR v1.19.3.1.diversity1 has been
fixed in this version. Later versions of this program will include
front panel selection of the Mercury boards (Mercry1 only, Mercury2
only, and Both) and, perhaps, digital phasing of the two Mercury data
streams.

If anyone happens to try this program and notices any bugs with it I'd
appreciate feedback regarding them. Thanks!
