[hpsdr] Will 2 different Mercury's work well for diversity?

Hello all,

Would I have to pay special attention to version differences of the Mercury
hardware if I want to build a HPSDR with two synchronous receivers? Could I
use one Mercury-EU and one Mercury-TAPR for the diversity receiver?
Can probably buy a used Mercury-TAPR and a used Excalibur... Was thinking I
could synchronize the 10 MHz with an Excalibur. And of course, follow all
the other instructions from K5SO´s pioneer work! :-)
