PowerSDR v1.19.3.1.diversity4 (K5SO 27SEP2010) is available for
download with supporting files and instructions at
http://k5so.com/HPSDR_downloads.html
This enhanced dual-Mercury board diversity version includes front
panel selection of Mercury 1 board only, Mercury 2 board only, or both
Mercury 1 and Mercury 2 boards in a constant-gain diversity mode along
with the usual features found in the W5WC PowerSDR v1.19.3.1 program.
In this version the three new front panel controls don't quite match
the cosmetic appearance of the other front panel buttons but they will
in a subsequent release. It is my opinion that the enhanced
functionality of having these controls on the front panel warrants
this special release and overrides my desire to have a consistent
cosmetic appearance of the buttons, at least temporarily, until I can
manage to merge these controls with the other numerous controls in the
program so that their appearance is consistent with the other buttons.
It is with extreme pleasure that I acknowledge the wonderful
assistance I received from some of the professional-level programmers
we have in our community in helping me to understand how to make C#
projects share data with C projects in a single program successfully;
namely George Byrkit K9TRV for very detailed assistance and patience
with my initial lack of understanding and sometimes (I'm sure) inane
questions, and Bill Tracey KD5TFD, Dave McQuate WA8YWQ, and Gordon
Duff KA2NLM for their highly useful guiding comments and suggestions
for me. I certainly could not have pulled this version together so
quickly without all their wonderful support. Thank you, thank you,
thank you!
By the way, George K9TRV explicitly offers to assist anyone to
understand in detail what they need to do in order get/keep rolling on
their programming projects, whether you are a newbie to the
programming world or not.
Everyone here is extremely helpful to new programmers like me, I've
found, and that attitude makes this HPSDR community project highly
productive in all of its various aspects!
Thanks a bunch everyone!
