[hpsdr] Laptop and PowerSDR-Metis

Hi,

I friend of mine has a HPSDR (Mercury + Metis) working fine but sometimes hi is using a laptop wich is used to work in his office.
The problem is that sometimes PowerSDR stops and popups a error about "to be sure if hardware is connected".
With desktop computer is not getting any error.

He thinks that is something about the ethernet configuration but he is not able to find it.

Anyone know if some ethernet setting is critical for Metis/PowerSDR?
