Yeah, I realized that shortly after sending the message.  I think I typoed the first digit and it propagated through the math.  To correct the rest:

1000000000 bits per second /  8720 bits per packet = 114678 packets/sec

114678 packets/sec * 126 samples/packet = 14449541 samples/sec = 14.449 Msps

So, 14.5 MHz or so.
