[hpsdr] How do you switch power to Atlas

After running my HPSDR system for a week or so, I finally got around to
installing a power switch. The Atlas documentation says to jumper T7 and
T8 together to enable Atlas to be powered up, and install a power switch
across T7 and T8 if desired.

After installing the switch across T7 and T8, Atlas is still powered up
regardless of the switch position. I thought maybe I created a solder
bridge somewhere, but that doesn't seem to be the case. There is no
conductivity between T7 and T8 when the switch is turned off, and Atlas
remains powered up.

So then I looked at the schematics for Atlas and LPU, and it seems that
LPU has no provision for being powered on and off. Shorting T7 and T8 on
Atlas pulls pin 14 of the ATX connector to ground. But pin 14 on LPU is
not connected to anything. The power could be disabled by pulling pin 4
low on the regulators, but it's not wired that way.

Am I misunderstanding something here? What is the best way to wire in a
power switch for an HPSDR system?
