Dear Al,

Sorry to hear that!  I'm guessing you have v1.0.14 KISS-USB from Phil's
tree.  He and I have been working to reconcile the KK-USB and KK-Ethernet
(Metis) versions of the code, and you may have stumbled onto a
partially-working version.  I'd suggest refreshing with 1.0.16, which is
currently in the VK6APH branch.  This should all stabilise by the end of
this weekend, as we struggle to get things ready for the Metis shipments.

Now, looking at what you have reported, I have Ozy firmware reporting as
V1.8, with the same FX2 firmware date as you.  My mercury is at v2.7, not
v2.9.  Did you click on 'off' to start the radio before checking versions?
Otherwise, you would see all zeroes for versions.  I don't have a penelope
in that box, so I cannot testify as to what version you should see.
